We discuss Amy’s career transition story from her school days studying journalism to becoming a marketing executive, all the while never losing the passion and hobby of writing, which turned into a book deal and eventually her own successful business as a marketing consultant. We discuss the best ways to work through career setbacks by using a process and framework and how to redirect when you are not happy and your goals are not aligned.

She wrote a local children’s book about the independent-owned businesses in her own beloved neighborhood of Sunnyside, Queens, where she lives with her husband and daughter.
